Proposal from the League of Friends of Fenwick Hospital: 24 March 2023
Sadly, the condition of the existing Fenwick Hospital buildings is so poor that the cost of bring them up to the standard required is prohibitive. This means, that the League of Friends of Fenwick Hospital (LoFF) have had to accept that they must concentrate on a new build approach.
In order to fund a modern health and wellbeing centre on the site, LoFF are currently considering also creating affordable homes for key workers.
